I purchased The Adventures of Rue and Domino: Different Is Good by Rhonda S. Ramos. It was a quick read and a great read. I enjoyed the differences that were shown between the two girls. It demonstrated how you can be different and still get along with someone who does things differently.

The story teaches so many valuable lessons. It shows children that it's okay to be different and that there are many ways to accomplish the same goal. Even through their differences, the girls learned from one another, discovered new ways of thinking, and appreciated each other's unique perspectives. Their willingness to compare, contrast, and make adjustments demonstrated individuality, understanding, and friendship.

It is a must-read.

As a retired teacher with 33 years of experience, I highly recommend this book for every Pre-K through 3rd-grade classroom. It also makes a wonderful gift for young children.
